The Position: Laundry Housekeeper
Job Description
The Delaware Hotel is looking for someone who is highly motivated to be a part of our Laundry and Housekeeping team! As the laundry/housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and stocking Delaware Hotel’s Linens.
What You’ll Do
- Sort bed linens and towels, load articles into washers/dryers at regular intervals to ensure steady availability of items
- Regulate machine processes when starting washers & dryers; turn levels and valves to control the volume of additives, specific cycles, and temperature
- Sort articles as they are removed from dryers; hang, fold or wrap the articles according to requirements with attention to detail
- Must be able to lift laundry, stand for long periods, and have excellent organizational skills
Work Hours
- The shift would be Wednesday to Sunday, flexible work hours.
