All of our guests bring their cars - cars are needed for most mountain adventures in Colorado. This home is centrally located to most of central Colorado's great outdoor activities.

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. This house really deserves 1 star, and I normally hate leaving negative reviews. Some of the bathroom and bedroom doors wouldn't close, there was mold, there was food waste and used dog poop bags left in the backyard, and there were various other things in a state of disrepair. I don't know how there aren't other negative reviews, maybe things were cleaned up or hidden better before other guests' stays, but we'd never stay at this house again.
Fortunately, the management company was responsive -- they immediately sent people to fix some of the minor issues, and then they moved us into a better house after the first night.
