One of the numerous places you can visit in Colorado is Copper Mountain. You won’t run out of activities to do in this lovely and majestic place. We’ve saved the best ones for you.
Skiing
Recognized as having the most organized skier layout of any ski resort by National Forest Service. Beginners can start at the West Village (formerly Union Creek) and from there eastward the course will gradually increase in difficulty towards East Village (Center Village). Advanced ones are to the far east with the most difficult on the backside. Transitions between the courses are isolated in natural fashion.
Snowboarding
Just like skiing, snowboarding is also recommended as the terrain has a natural separation or transition by difficulty across the 3 base areas. This gives snowboarders a section based on their ability.
Snow Tubing
If the above is not your thing, you can try this. Sessions usually last an hour and it’s also good for the kids. Be sure to gear up with warm clothes.
Dine Out
The villages at Copper Mountain offer a range of restaurants you and your family will enjoy. From Mexican cuisine at Mahi’s Street Tacos to the classic American dishes at Ten Mile Tavern to a quick fix of Italian at Mamma’s Italiano to chilling time at On The Rockies Whiskey And Wine Bar. Just pick and roll.
Mountain Tours
The best way to get around the area is by seeing it from the east to west. Get to know history, natural science, wildlife and more. Plus, discover local’s favorite spots that your brochure doesn’t know.
Zip Line
Feel the rush and get ready to scream! You can also do this in tandem and is open to everyone between 45 and 260 lbs of any age.
Wall Climbing
Home to the largest free-standing, outdoor climbing wall in Colorado. Course for beginners to expert-level ones, you name it, they got it. Gears and highly trained staff are onsite to assist. Located at the Center Village near West Lake
